Broughton Astley Heritage Society
Purpose
The aims of the society are :- to promote an appreciation of the history, architecture, landscape and wildlife of Broughton Astley village and parish.
- to encourage public interest in the heritage of the community through a regular programme of meetings and other events organised by the society.
- to encourage a sense of community in the village by undertaking special projects, such as heritage exhibitions or surveys of the local architecture, landscape and wildlife.
- to interact with other societies in the county and elsewhere with similar interests and aims.
- to act as a social focus and information resource for those interested in the history and heritage of the community.
