(1) - The first example comes from a talk which Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi gave in London, on 1st November 1982, to celebrate the birthday of Guru Nanak:

"Go and ask any realized soul who is called as Avadhuta, the one who is a master. They will tell you they hardly sleep for three hours or four hours because they cannot work when they are sleeping, so they sleep for four hours. The rest of the time they are working. Either they meditate and do things by projection or they work with their hands. They are busy people. They are very busy. You have to be very busy people because now you are employed by God and you have to do full justice to this employment by working hard. On the contrary you have seen that it is very easy to get lazy. So now, as many of you are already feeling sleepy, put your... First thing should be for all those people who are lazy, is to put their right to the left seven times. Let's have it. With the right hand... It's better?"

(2) - The second example comes from a meditation led by Shri Mataji in Shuddy Camps, Cambridge on 18th June 1988. The Sahaja Yogis had their right hands on top of their heads and were asked to move the scalp:

"Press it hard. And move it hard... Now take down your hands. Heads are all very hot. So now let us give ourselves a nice bandhan. In the bandhan of Mother let us move our left to the right. One... Nicely. Understand what you are, what are your auras. Now again, second one... Now the third one... Now the fourth one... Now the fifth... Now the sixth one... And now the seventh."
