Broughton Astley Twinning Association

Twinned With

"Geveze, Ille et Villaine, Bretagne, France".
Geveze is in Brittany, about 30 miles
from St. Malo. The twinning charters
were signed in 1995.
The association organises visits, normally once a year, in which
either people from Broughton visit Geveze families, or vice versa.
Many Broughton Astley families have made long lasting friendships
with residents of our twin village.

Exhibition

Many items associated with Geveze and its people are on display at
the Village Hall.

Next Visit/Events

Normally the visits are arranged around either the Spring or the early
Summer Bank Holiday weekends. Please contact the Association for
the latest plans.

Members also arrange social and fundraising events throughout the year.

Membership

Annual subscriptions for 2009 are £5 per individual or £10 per family.
The Association has approximately 50 members. Anyone
interested in joining should contact the Association via
